A truly heartbreaking moment in American history. My thoughts go out to the Kennedy family.

incredible how fast this all happened! every anniversary I am speechless
I was five years old, and didn't really understand what was going on. All I knew was that my parents were very upset. Wow. Seems like yesterday.
I was 5 also. remember being home with chicken pox & upset felix the cat wasn't on and grandmother trying to explain what happened. the days of watching it on TV & mother crying left an definite impact
I believe they actually had to cut away part of the interior to fit it inside.
Yep they had to remove 2 rows of seats
I was four years old and it was the first time I saw my mom cry. I asked her why and she said they killed the president. I’ll never forget that day.
I was 11 yrs. old. Heartbroken. I was a child living in Ireland at the time, and we all looked up to JFK. The entire country was in mourning.
We went to an Irish Catholic school. So we were devastated too.
It was so hard to watch, as a child, so much evil in the world. And now, look where we are.
In so many ways, it seems like yesterday
As the years pass the magnitude of this terrible tragedy only grows more apparent.
Sad day. For a country, the world, most of all for his family.
My God, these photos and the memories...
After all these years, I am still heartbroken...
