That is an extraordinary photo, shared at just that moment. Wow.
I was just running errands remembering and thinking I hadn't heard a word about this solemn anniversary all day; even with the news of the naval accident. Prez Kennedy served in the Navy with distinction. I will always remember #Nov22nd '63.
Why couldn’t there have been rain??
Oh my...seeing all this in these tweets sends chills and much sadness.
I was in elementry school in Canada on this day. We were sent home for the day, Sat in the living room watching the news, crying!
I was a senior in high school. Feels like yesterday. Glued to the TV for days and days.
i was in 3rd grade. it was scary. they let school out and when we got home the adults were crying and freaking out. never forget it as long as i live.
It's one of those experiences that's burned into your brain. You remember where you were and what you were doing. Then RFK and MLK. It felt like life as I knew it was going to end. The Apocalypse had to be near.
Such a sad day. My mind always floats to... What if? What if he had lived?
Stole our innocence.
this is great. thank you. you have my dream job <3
