Second place I ever saw an MLB game (after the Senators at RFK). It was almost a rainout! because no one could get there through floodwaters

That’s awesome. Would have loved to see the Senators in RFK...or any event at the Astrodome in its heyday.

Ted Williams was their manager at the time, which means I can actually say I saw Ted Williams on the field, in uniform :-)

And the Astros game was great because my Cubs were the visitors and the flood meant that only a couple hundred folks showed up. Great seats!
