Such a sad picture, the pain of losing MLK plus knowing that not long from when this was taken we'd lose RFK too. Such a tragic time for US
What a surreal photo. How strange life is sometimes. Little did Ethel Kennedy know that her turn in the widow's chair was in the offing.
Yes...(both those women had to worry whenever their husbands left the house...especially CSK...
)
I remember that night...then two months later, Bobby was shot!
And 2 months later we lost Bobby to another hateful person with a gun. Such a tragic photo. I can still weep for all the loss.
Interesting it was in bedroom
No it was their bedroom. Pictures above the bed. And why the bedroom? When your house is full of well wishers, where do you go 4 privacy?
Next year will be one of remembrance on the 50 year anniversary of all those tragedies.
tragic moments
So sad.
Man this is sad in so many ways.
Wow, awesome photo!
Powerful pictures.
Lots of irony there, looking at the personal & professional lives of both men.
May we learn from the past...
Amazing photo - in their bedroom. You do know how to pick 'em
