@BeschlossDC Lou Gehrig was a very brave man. May is national awareness month for Lou Gehrig's disease.

@BeschlossDC Do remember that on his comeback LP, "Old Blue Eyes is Back," he sang, "There Used to Be a Ballpark." -
@MARKJDANIELS@BeschlossDC Terrific. Joe Garagiola's favorite.One of his best post '70 efforts. -
@priusport@BeschlossDC Really? It's a great song. That LP was very good. Maybe not his best, but great vocals, wonderful arrangements. -
@MARKJDANIELS@BeschlossDC Maybe his best effort on that LP. Frank was at his best in the 50s--at Capitol with Riddle, etc. His vocal prime. -
@priusport Agreed. His vocals from that period were stunning and Riddle's arrangements were beautifully complementary of Sinatra's voice.

@BeschlossDC Wonder what Old Blue Eyes was doing at Crosley Stadium? Yes, it was the World Series. But I was Frank a baseball fan? -
@MARKJDANIELS@BeschlossDC lifetime Dodger fan--from the Brooklyn days. Hoboken a ferry across the river. -
@priusport@BeschlossDC Now that you mention it, I had read he was a Dodger fan. Thanks!
