I love how you subtweet with history lol
I always felt so for her
I remember this and was the first time I had heard of breast cancer.
You always know just what to say, Sir!
And may i say, Sir, that before seeing you on MSNBC i never would have thought of following a presidential historian. But then, you are the first presidential historian i've ever known by name! Thanks
So interesting isn't it?
My mother was a volunteer for the @AmericanCancer at that time and I remember what an important impact early detection and education had. No one talked about it before Mrs. Ford.
She also made a huge difference when she admitted to having a problem with alcohol and sought treatment. She was one of the few Republican women I admired. She stood strong on abortion rights, equal rights and gun control. She had compassion and took action in service to others.
We’ll never know the number of lives she saved by sharing her pain.
