Michael, I am surprised more Presidents don’t seek their predecessors’ guidance. Is this happening behind the scenes and we just don’t hear about it? Are Presidents too egotistical to admit the counsel of others could help them?

When Obama took office, he asked W to convene a meeting with all former presidents so he could seek their advice.
