@FLAPCanada says city lights at night confuse migratory birds and cause collisions with buildings. 😔 "Across North America, the estimated number of migrating birds killed annually in collisions with buildings ranges from 100 million to 1 billion birds." http://www.flap.org/faqs.php

Notice how places with lots of lights vote Dem, while the dark places vote GOP (except for N.D. oil field)?

Yup. Dems clearly waste a lot of fossil fuels and are singlehandedly responsible for global warming. #youwalkedintothatone

Per person electricity use is lower in the city--it's just that people are so much more concentrated. Nice try at spinning it, though.

You realize that that - the concentration in urban environments - was my exact point to schmuckaroo? It is well known virtually ALL cities - even in the reddest states - Bc of diversity, income levels, etc - vote Dem. He didn’t have an insight, just a polemic spin. Zzzzzzz

Note the large bright spot in western ND - about as large (tho not as dense) as Chicago/Houston/etc metro areas, but with no major cities anywhere nearby. #bakken
