How much does the Rosenstein story echo Nixon's predicament? It's stunning how closely these stories are tracking. I'm clinging to my faith that the Orange Overlord will indeed face his own personal justice. Please let it be soon.

Trump wanders the halls at night talking to the portraits of First Ladies. “I’d do her.” “Too fat.” A mysterious hole is found in the portrait of Jackie Kennedy one morning.

Things I love: History. Things I don’t love: History repeating itself.

Who would fire Rosenstein? We know that Trump isn't man enough to do it face to face?

Could this happen if Rosenstein is fired?

This is probably why he's being fired.

Trump admires Nixon. GOP wasn’t in bed with Nixon. Trump has allegiance to himself. Nixon loved our Nation even though he approved/knew re breaking into Watergate and Daniel Ellsberg’s Dr’s office. What could go wrong? Prayers for our Democracy.

Along with AG Richardson, Ruckelshaus was regarded as a hero for refusing to fire Cox. In his distinguished career he was the first head of the EPA, & went back to lead the EPA again when EPA was in disarray during the Reagan years. Obama awarded him the Medal of Freedom in 2015.
