Great photo! Thanx! I don't think I've ever seen it before....... Fifty years ago. My God. No wonder I don't feel so great physically these days.

I remember well the day my brother smashed my 45 rpm with these two tunes on either side. No doubt I had done something to deserve this from
@DavidHarrold4. But John and Paul did not. -
Let it go man.

The music these guys put out in such a short period of time is unprecedented.

I lived in England at the time and there was huge excitement over the brand new Apple label. 45 RPMs there had a small hole just like LPs do here so the imagery of the full and sliced apple was even greater.

My senior year in college and Hey Jude was playing endlessly on the juke box in the Commons. I can still taste the coffee and whatever nasty cigarettes I was smoking at the time.

Loved Revolution. Never cared much for Hey Jude. I found it boring and still find it so. And I bow to no one in my knowledge of or love for the Fab Four. Saw them twice live and saw MCCartney twice live.
-
I, also, take no back seats in this area. And neither does Paul’s voice on Hey Jude. One of his best vocals. How can you not love the “let it out & let it in” verse?
-
Because it goes on forever and ever. I can think of dozens of MCCartney songs I vastly prefer. Do you never get tired of the ‘nah, nah, nah, na na na nah’ filler at the end? Seeing it live is hell!It drives me nuts.
-
Yes, I'll acknowledge that the na na na nahs go on for far too long, but I'd sit through them twice for the first 3 minutes. Thankfully, there's usually a "next song" button, but I still would've loved to hear it live. He didn't do it when I saw him in 2009.
-
Live, it is excruciating. I saw him in 2002 and again in ? (I can’t remember), but he had every part of the audience go through interminable na na’s. Give me Let it Be or For No One or any one of 50 other songs.
-
Hard to think I would trade a second of a McCartney concert, but I can def see how 4 min of na na nahs sung by the people next to you would get old. There are lots of Beatles songs I like more than Hey Jude, but I stand by my claim that it's one of Paul's best vocals
