Written like a man of true character and integrity. It makes me sad that the principled resignation letter has been replaced by a sudden, unexpected firing by tweet. (p.s. to Sarah Huckabee Sanders: This is how a press secretary with integrity handles things.)

Viewed in the rear view mirror, that pardon did not end the long national nightmare. It set a precedent that should not be repeated to end the current nightmare—it should end when the rule of law & any penalty have been fairly & fully applied.

I understand why he resigned. Shows character. None of the clowns in the WH now have even a drop of character.

A @PressSec resigning in protest of the actions of the president. It does happen, believe it or not. (There's still time to join that club, @SarahHuckabee!)https://twitter.com/BeschlossDC/status/1037818810655485958 …

In the party of the loyal opposition, I hope. Republicans seem to be willing to cheat to win, while Democrats are so democratic they want fair & open processes. Money is necessary to be a hero in Congress.

I sorely miss the days when people used the English language with the dexterity of someone who actually reads enough of it to eliminate ambiguity and imbue passion into what ordinarily would be a rote resignation.

You know, I read it, like, four times before I realized it was only one sentence. Stick around, I fk up a lot and it's glorious Thanks too, btw. I'm convinced I'm a dumbass, myself. Keeps me humble. Leave every day knowing something I didn't when I woke up is all I can do.👍
