Ha! Thanks. The pic is four years old, but b&w in Photoshop erases the lines. 😄

McCain was lucky he came back Many of my fellow Marine Officers did not. They are the true heroes.

So released POWs are not heroes? I just want to see you state it.

Was anyone actually questioning that fact, Robert? Why on earth would you feel it necessary to make that point?

And that’s a shame, but still no reason to disparage the men held and released as POWs. Fortunately now we recognize the brave service of our Vietnam veterans.

You just said the people who died in Nam are the true heroes, which means those who were captured aren’t real heroes. Which is it, Robert?

I finished reading his account of his time as a POW, just moments before his passing was announced. It was the most difficult, yet inspiring thing I've ever read. How anyone survived that and came through the other side as he did, is a testament to the human spirit✌RIP💔🇺🇸pic.twitter.com/WU0p79KvWz

Brigadier Gen'l James R. "Robbie" Risner was fighter pilot in the USAF. During the Vietnam War, he was a double recipient of the Air Force Cross, the 2nd highest military. He was captured & tortured mercilessly as a POW but never betrayed POTUS or his country. A true man of God.
