        It's important to remember that it was only 50 years ago that the United States ended its barbaric, state-sanctioned policy of racial apartheid. "The land of the free and the home of the brave" is self-deluding self-flattery.

        I think historians should bring the history of Presidents and past historical events to the people. And keep their own political views to themselves. To do otherwise is unseemly. Your either an historian or political commentator. Can't be dignified at both and credibility gone
