        I've always been taken with the comment that every human being who has ever lived or died is in this photo, except for one: Collins. There's something incredibly touching about the isolation experienced by CM pilots during landing missions.

        I vividly remember the moon walk. My parents made sure all of us were up and watching even though it was past bedtime. I'm glad they did. I only remember bits and pieces of of space history, but First Moon Walk is clear as a bell.

        Knew Richard Hopeman while I worked at Villanova in the early 90's. Dick was an engineer/stat genius and at NASA and was present in the room the first time the picture of The Big Blue Marble was broadcast (67'-68). Said there was not a dry eye. Everyone "got it". Shame it's gone
