Pop owned a resturaunt In DC in the 50s and 60s. We went to a lot of games at Griffith before they closed it. Tickets behind the dougout? $0.85. I remember him jumping up, running to the fence behind the plate took his glasses off holding them out, screaming at the 'blind' ump.🤣

I love the propaganda. The public would never have known he had a disability- there was a tacit agreement with the press also not to show him in a wheelchair. Crazy. Hillary Clinton stumbles and cable news has a cow for 2 weeks.
