With respect to Borman, Lovell, and Anders - first trip by human beings to land on the moon.
-
Especially given that this December is the 50th anniversary of that mission.
-
A wonderful end to a tumultuous terrible year.
-
'68 was very Tumultuous. With the riots at the DNC Convention in Chicago.

As a 16-year old, I audio taped Walter Cronkite covering the landing. I still have the cassette somewhere. Walter Cronkite covering space flight - or anything else- was all-tme BEST

I can not imagine the looks on peoples faces when they find out that we in fact have never landed on the moon. How on Earth in the 60’s did we go to the “Moon” and haven’t been able to go now with all of the modern technologies? Im not even a conspiracy theorist. Really like info

“... haven’t been able to go now, with all the modern technologies...” We tried to go recently, with modern technologies, and failed? Missed that one
