        The sad thing: Nixon was a much better politician, a much better President and a much better human being than Trump. And Nixon was STILL garbage (even though he did get us pandas).

        Indeed, eerily similar with key differences. In '72 you had a GOP willing to take on 1 of their own and a press that was unrelenting and unified - no state media.
