OMG! I loathed Nixon. Beginning w/the Checkers thing & the plain cloth coat.
-
A respectable Republican cloth coat.
-
Thanks. Didn't want to look it up bc it depresses me. Time to watch All the President's Men.

Right, Adlai Stevenson and his segregationist running mate were far superior in 1952.

I got no clue of Jackie's politics but whatever they were they can be forgiven.
-
I'm with you. He was, indeed, The Great One.

Jackie Gleason's obesity really stood out back in the day. Nowadays it would hardly be noticed.
-
Same thing with your level of rudeness
-
I guess so. I'm not even aware that what I just said was rude. Perhaps you could explain to me how it was rude.
-
"God, Gleason was fat. Not that anyone would notice today with all the fatties around." Maybe that's not what you meant. It's just how I read it.
-
Well, Jackie Gleason often brought attention to his fatness for humor's sake. His obesity was a continual joke in The Honeymooners. So I don't see how it is offensive then for me to bring it up. And now, yes, obesity is rampant. Just stating the obvious. I'm portly myself.
-
Don't think twice about it... I'm just reactive when I use Twitter.
-
I think you have behaved very well. I have no problem with you.
