A shockingly sad night and time. We'd all voted and were happy he'd won the California primary, when the news began breaking. The third major assassination was too much. Heartbreaking.

That was one tough spring of my senior year in high school - First Dr. King, then Sen. Kennedy - the civil rights riots in many of our cities and the Vietnam War draft...it seemed as tho’ the daily news cycle would never calm down.

Junior in high school for me. Very sad. Old enough to see JFK, MLK jr. And RFK assassinated 😢

I was a Freshman in high school and I remember the profound sadness. A surreal time, with all 3 killed. Wrote to LBJ asking for RFK's address b/c I had written him a poem. Still have letter of reply fm White House & copy of poem

I was at the cinema, when they announced what had happened everyone left. I cried myself to sleep that night - the whole world was dazed!

Aye, remember it too. Saw the coverage of RFK’s campaign on telly and seemed he was channelling messages of hope and non-violence. They murdered all their visionary leaders in ‘60s. Every one of the assassinations left a trail of unanswered questions.

We went through a lot of political unrest when we were young and later with Thatcher. I never dreamt that things could actually get worse but along came the NO vote and then BREXIT and...and...and THEN Trump🇺🇸 - cue hysterical laughter!!!

Aye, the world certainly has become near unrecognisable. I’m not convinced US presidents have exercised much actual autonomous power since JFK. So much theatre for the masses while the powers that be run the country. UK on the same path, imo.

My friends and family think I see conspiracies everywhere and they’re right - I do! It all started when my brother told me to read a book called ‘Chariots of the Gods -Was God an Astronaut?’

4:44 a.m. A boy in Brooklyn, N.Y. snuck a transistor radio under his pillow hours before to follow reports of RFK’s shooting. His mother had loved JFK & RFK for their promise of a better America. Then Frank M. announces the end. The boy cries to sleep. His world forever changed.

After not being allowed to go to the Ambassador, stayed up 6/5 listening to radio while doing my homework. At 1:36a.m. (by the clock), my inner voice said "He's dead". Turned on tv & radio. RFK succumbed at 1:44am. Such was strength of his humanity...it reached out to any and all

...a “Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement” panel, perhaps? 🤔 On the bright side, given that we all share a common “nexus to immigration” maybe ICE will start to “acknowledge and serve” the victims of these guys.
