Imho, RFK may well have been one the greatest Presidents your country ever had. JFK relied on him & trusted him completely on all decisions. He would have been such a unifying force for all citizens of good will - the antithesis of what you have now. ~ A Sad Canadian ~

I remember that all too well. I’d already signed on to campaign for McCarthy when RFK got into the race. Even though we won OR, I’d expected to happily vote for Kennedy in the general. Just days later, I was devastated.

Next to So Cali.landing at Long Beach Airport. People had gathered, I walked up to the back bumper of the convertible. He & Ethel were sitting atop of the back seat, parade style. I readied my camera&yelled,”Hey Bobby",they turned inward, looked at me and I snapped the photo

PS, the photograph is in the garage, I must find it someday!

Michael? How much does the Democratic Party pay you?

He is a moron, but at least he didn’t claim that RFK would be a Republican today like I’ve seen others say.

I feel my heart breaking. Still remember spending the night next to the radio, waiting for the news.

I remember the day the Muslim, Sirhan Sirhan, shot Bobby Kennedy 4 times—once in the head. Sad as that is not the way civilized people remove political people we disagree with.
-
Wrong. Your racism is showing
-
Oh, horse manure.
-
Sirhan was not a Muslim, first of all. Second, if you think "civilized" people shouldn't kill the people they disagree with, you can start by criticizing the US government and the Pentagon
-
So, it appears an Palestinian Christian killed the Catholic brother of the President of the United States because he was supporting the Jews in Israel. Seems like his original death sentence was in order, and should not have bedn commuted.
-
No. He killed him because Kennedy supported the people who displaced his own people. The attack was horrific but it was not because Kennedy "supported the Jews"
-
My beef is Sirhan didn’t get the death penalty. As to why he shot Bobby Kennedy...You need to take up your argument with http://www.Histoty.com
-
Nowhere does it mention Muslims or Jews
