Thanks, interesting to see !
How many of those pictured made the ultimate sacrifice? Truly the generation that saved the world.
Indeed they did. Brave beyond words!
Yes sir ! But please remember the 1st greatest generation that more si saved America and as you know, the most important American combat ever: 3 days at Gettysburg. Please remember those men.
My grandfather’s 1st Action was on D-day as well. He held over in England while awaiting the attack. We have so much to be #grateful for in how God took care of our troops.
Imagine scaling the steep cliffs of Pointe du Hoc under machine gun fire with grenades bouncing down at you. The Rangers suffered 60% casualties there that day.
June 2018 America puts tarrifs on key Allies and spares China...cause of a deal for Ivanka.
I wish my 93 y/o Dad (WWII veteran) was on Twitter to encounter and read your tweets. Me snapping and emailing pics thereof is not the same.
I feel the same for my 90 years old dad...
They went in Won the war against communism More coverage of 45 tweets than D-Day & the HEROES that got us here Our country has lost their collective memory Shameful kids are going to learn the history of today When the history of freedom is what they should be taught
I see that line of soldiers and wonder how many made it.
Love this photo!
When we had heroes. Where are they now? We need them.
