Taxation itself is a moral abomination.

Excellent point dim wit, how do we fund schools, libraries, streets, fire departments...hunh, genius?
-
Not with violence.
-
Right, violence destroys things, and destruction costs money. So if taxation causes abomination, how do we fund the shared costs of a civilized society: bake sale?
-
It is fundamentally uncivilized to predicate civilized society on the notion that aggression against any individual is permissible. Can I answer how to solve all the ails of society? No one can. That's the point. That's why we need decentralization.
-
But starting those solutions with theft is not okay. And yes, taxation is a form of theft. There is no way around it. I have enough faith in humanity to be able to solve issues without first resorting to violence.

Property is one of our most cherished illusions.

Life is an illusion, much more than property.

More specifically he means: Take from those who earned it and give to bureaucrats. Progressives don’t give a crap about the poor, but boy do they love other people’s money.

You had the chance to run as an independent but you chose to endorse the only candidate capable of losing to Trump.
-
Surely one person running as an Independant would not have changed the outcome ie a Trump win?
-
When faced with the devil and the deep blue sea an alternative needs to be found. It may have worked to Trumps advantage but it may have also put pressure on Clinton to quit "on health grounds" to prevent a Trump victory.
-
Ok but looking in from afar it seemed Sanders was the best candidate the Democrats had. His policies were great
-
Indeed, but it was rigged against him
-
Yes I gathered that, he should have been given opportunity to run for President not Clinton. She had too much baggage.Democratic Party must take some responsibility for Trump win too.
-
Agreed but the DNC is so corrupt we are where we are. I don't believe Sanders should have accepted it.
-
Sure. Suppose Democrats have gone down same road as UK Labour Party. We now have Corbyn, same policies as Sanders, but prior to that we had an elected dictatorship, there was little difference between tories(republicans) and New Labour(democrats) .
