Bernie. The Presidential Election was a referendum on Trump. He won. You guys lost. Your ideas were rejected. Nothing has changed

Except now the entire world sees Trump as the clown that he is.
-
Ahh, Mike. That’s Mister President to you... and the rest of the socialists who were defeated a year ago tonight. Get over it
-
Not a Democrat or an American. Glad you are proud to have him as your leader. See if he can get any major bill passed. Not looking too promising.
-
Economy booming, conservatives on the court, facing down tyrants, killing ISIS... not sure where you’re from, but compared to the last guy we had and considering the opposition he’s faced, I’d say he’s doing a fantastic job.
-
Ahh... have you seen the excerpts from Donna’s book? Clinton cults, stealing the election, buying the DNC...
-
You acting like time stopped Nov 8 2016 or Jan 20 2017. Time is the enemy of all politicians that can’t learn & adapt. This goes for Democrats too BTW. America is different and its politics need to reflect that.

Sadly, I think this will only encourage corporate Dems to think they don't have to change anything to win.
-
Look at the down ballot wins. Those were mostly ordinary people from different backgrounds inspired to run despite the establishment. A trans journalist. A BLM attorney. A grieving husband. Those weren’t business as usual establishment wins.
-
The Democratic Party establishment rarley ever helps down ballot races, those are fueled by grassroots organization & actual political ideas.
-
The DNC invested money and resources into VA and NJ down ballot races. Normally I would agree, historically when Obama was party leader, the DNC neglected down ballot candidates.
-
And VA and NJ are the definition of establishment.
-
And I just debunked the myth that the DNC was no where to be found for smaller races.
-
Except, no, you didn't. As usual, they invested in status quo candidates. Anyone who dared think outside the box was left to fend for themselves. Ask Lee Carter how much help he got.

A former Wall Street banker won governor of Virginia, we progressives shouldn't celebrate this as a win.
-
"We progressives"are thrilled that both Murphy and Northam won. Cuz a dem is akways better than a R. A lesson we learned in 2016.
-
A centrist democrat is no different than a republican
-
Wrong. Next.
-
Keep moving the Democratic Party to the right & see where that gets you...
-
We're not moving it to the right. That is simply a story you are clinging to as a means of assuaging you brogressive ego.
-
Brogressive? LOL
the party has moved to the right ever since the 1990s with Bill Clinton pushing welfare reform, that's not a story it's fact... - 1 more reply
