Instead of giving more tax breaks to corporate tax evaders, we should rebuild our nation’s infrastructure by closing offshore tax loopholes.

Instead of more tax breaks for Wall Street, we must make public colleges and universities tuition-free by taxing Wall Street speculators.

The top 20% pay 95% of federal income taxes. If 95% isn't a fair share, I'd be staggered to see what actually is
#TaxReform -
Where did you get this ridiculous notion? Breitbart, Fox? Please post a link to your source. I need proof of this claim.
-
quick google search will answer your question
-
I don't know what website you got this from, but it's totally incorrect, unless you were looking at present 1980s....lol
-
And they should
-
Why don't we get them to pay 100%? Bill Gates didn't do anything to earn his cash except create a great product, just take all his money.
-
Yes, they pay over 50%, but that only seems like a lot until you realize that the richest 1% hold more wealth than the bottom 90%.

Define "fair share" you hack. Wealthy people pay a far higher percentage than everyone else.
-
Lots of wealthy people get tax breaks that most people don't have. So they pay a smaller percentage in taxes.
-
This has been the biggest lie perpetuated by dems for eons.
-
btw the link i sent is from the IRS. so go ahead and call it "fake"

Define “the rich”. 1% already pay 40% of all taxes. What you propose is tantamount to theft. Are you a socialist? Serious question.
-
The problem is not the tax rate but loopholes. I agree with the tax reform, but a reform that's healthy for the economy and for everyone
-
I appreciate your response. How much in dollars would make you comfortable for the rich to pay? There must be an amount that’s “fair”.
-
As much as needed, as long as we can guarantee the basics needs of those who can't afford them! It's our responsibility ...
-
I like it. What are basic needs exactly? Who decides? How do we determine who qualifies? This used to be handled by the church.
-
The richest 1% don't pay taxes, they have the best accountants... Loopholes are killing the economy!
-
That’s an interesting reply. Can you cite a source to back up this claim? I’d be curious to read it.
