we need single payer, Bernie!
Come to Canada
. We have universal healthcare, it's safe here and we're already great.
Canada has such good healthcare, when someone really gets sick or needs special treatments they come to the US. Hahahaha!
Paid for by our health insurance....
Not really. A lot of them pay cash. Socialist healthcare has never worked and never will.
You're telling me this because you have had first-hand experience?
After 9/11 Canadians did nothing but complain that we made it too hard to come here for healthcare. Drs lost 'cash' paying customers.
Let's not forget: Bernie Sanders undermined support for the ACA while he called Hillary an insurance company shill for continuing to back it
The ACA was a preemptive compromise with a party that wouldn't have voted for anything. They should've done single payer from the start.
It does several good things and has saved lives, but it's a half-measure. They could've insured everybody.
Yep & the fun bit is ACA was actually a GOP plan, which was why it DIDN'T do that. Now they want to destroy everyone's access to healthcare
When Obama's people tried to use that against Romney in 2012, all I could think was "Why did you base your plan off a Republican plan?"
The Obama experiment was using Republican policies and trying to be smug about it when they oppose them. But they just go further right.
Those confederates fought bravely, why would the battle flag of the army of northern Virginia be a sign of white supremacy?
Because bigots made it one during the Civil Rights Movement.
It symbolizes an army... where's the logic in that?
I'm starting to think you know the history and you're just being deliberately obtuse.
I'm just extremely good at war history
Then you would know that design was never a confederate army flag. Only a small portion surrounded by white.
You're right because it was inspired by St. Andrew's Cross, but that flag was chosen for the army of northern Virginia
