I think you may be interested in some alternative ownership models. particularly Community Land Trusts and Housing Co-ops. https://www.citylab.com/equity/2019/04/home-ownership-ideas-housing-co-ops-shared-equity-land-trust/585658/ … If you or the tenants decide they might be interested, feel free to contact me and we will investigate a conversion.

You can do that. Any rent you collect on your multiple properties can be waived.

Apparently you hold resentment of having to work for someone else to make your wealth. No one’s problem but your own. Enjoy the anarchy in your head.

Anarchy doesn't have to be confined to your head! Whether you call it "working for yourself" or "working for your community," people seem to always intuitively understand that those are both preferable to working for some boss. Who needs fixed, arbitrary authority figures?

Congratulations for being in Washington. Yea I heard starving is so so much fun to, along with depression, addiction, poverty, mass unemployment etc, this isn’t just about Covid jackass, it’s about the way of life and the ability to be an adult and make grown up decisions.

While that is a good point most tenants are not in the property business. They are just living and in some cases paycheck to paycheck while on the other hand landlords are responsible for the property, tenant or not. That is the business they sign up for.

When you go into a purchase there is always a prospect never a guarantee. In this case a pandemic is not good for business. So we need a solution to help all parties.
