Nope. You just would've had to pay 4% of your gross income over $29k. And everything, including dental, vision, hearing aids & long term care would be included. It is such a better deal. Unless your gross annual income is more than $204,000 per year, you will pay less for M4A.

They call that, "catastrophic insurance" meaning that something life threatening pretty much has to happen for you to not pay out of pocket. Plus, you probably still have a copayment after that 6k, which is like kicking you while you're down.
#M4A is the only way forward.
