This is the sort of thing a small child believes. In the grown up world, we know that some people will always make choices which will result in them losing what they have. Some people can be given a mansion and they will squander that wealth and end up back on the street.

The problem with statements like these is that when expanded they actually read "Noone should be allowed enough freedom over their own life that they can end up homeless". You cannot eliminate unfavorable outcomes for anyone without eliminating freedom to choice from everyone.

I agree 1000000% but let’s get out legal citizens a home first. Let’s give to our veterans who have given up so much for our freedom a home. NO ILLEGAL should get benefits over legal citizens and veterans.
