Define “a decent living”
In the United States of America, one job should be enough to earn a decent living.

Shelter. Food. Clothing. The ability to go out once in a while. You know, doing something besides running from job to job and collapsing in abject exhaustion every day.

UBI isn't a solution. It's just a band-aid for the problems this country faces.

The $15 is the bandaid. Clean money every month even if you change your job. Think about that.

$15 in our current state of things isn't good enough, I agree. If Bernie is able to pass universal healthcare, affordable housing, and the other policies it may be possible but still may come short of a living wage.

A UBI wouldn't promote people to go out and help themselves. Bernie is trying to change the heart of this country. Majority of people want earn their living.

Bernie is a good person but outdated like the rest. Yang can see things like a hot knife through butter. Freedom Dividend will always be with you till you die. The people who are retired can stack that money, no one can ever go hungry. It will give them a platform to complete.

I love how the solution that many here has is to simply get a better job/better education...are we just gonna forget there are areas with little to no jobs and the fact that we cannot all be doctors. There has to be people who work at the resteraunts you eat at-

You are right, if everyone are designers or managers, who will fabricate the stuff to sell. Plus, there should be more people fabricating (also other low academic level jobs) than designing and managing.
