Supreme Court justices are not above the law. Someone who sits in judgment over the nation should have the highest integrity.

The revelations today confirm what we already knew: During his hearing, Kavanaugh faced credible accusations and likely lied to Congress. I support any appropriate constitutional mechanism to hold him accountable.

You spelled "sexually assaults women" wrong.
-
I’m sorry Lauren but you retweeted this while attacking Sanders for saying the identical thing? Not a good look. This is bad faith.pic.twitter.com/l71BloSkkB
-
Also he made it about something else
-
No he didn’t. Read the whole thread. And he is correct.
-
The thing we are talking about today is the sexual assault allegations, which is the thing he lied about. Try and keep up.
-
No he didn’t lol. This is pathetic.

everyone complaining that adding the harassment part to the end of this thread isn’t good enough: lol. calm down. it’s there. and he’s saying he should’ve never been confirmed regardless. bernie voiced support for ford and disdain for kavanaugh many times and for *all* reasons.

Thank you for going to the trouble to curate these, the "Bernie doesn't care about women" crew are making me absolutely bonkers. It's obviously false to anyone who's seen his stuff w/o cherry picking.

Ok, but hear me out.... the fact that he is a rapist is also important.
-
I don't think Bernie thinks that this is not important. But I think he's trying to frame the issue in a way that will make future non-rapist corporate sellout judges more difficult to nominate. I read it as "even without getting to the rape, he was already unacceptable"
-
That's how I read it...and Bernie isn't my #1 or #2 pick. I didn't take it as dismissing anything.

You can’t impeach a SCOTUS Justice just because you don’t like their views. Do you need me to buy you a copy of the Constitution?
-
The first justice to be impeached was because of his actions while intoxicating leading to misdemeanors on a local level.
