UBI is a good idea, but it's not the only solution to homelessness. Another solution, is to simply give them homes, either by purchasing existing ones, or building new ones.

Agreed we absolutely can, and the FD is the first step towards that. They may not have a permanent home right away but they would have the funds to eat, shelter, shower, clothes etc. All basic needs met. Heck some may even use the funds to buy a ticket back home.

Can we do it without raising a single dollar for tax? American workers already pay good taxes, without reaping much benefits - no free healthcare, no free education for children. Americans pay a lot of taxes, without benefits, unlike Congress and their cronies.

I was homeless for 3 years and it was because I was denied disability. They need to speed up the process or there will be even more homeless people throughout the country.
