When is the last time you lived paycheck to paycheck? During the Civil War?

does it really matter? if he knows, he'd at least know where to even go to help people who still do live paycheck-to-paycheck
-
The rich get richer. Bernie is the rich.
-
Literally all major candidates are rich, this is such a non argument. it costs millions to run for president as a major candidate.
-
I'm not arguing about that. The argument is that he knows what it's like to be paycheck to paycheck, but he hasn't been paycheck to paycheck in a very long time, and only knows what it's like to be rich in the modern age. Things are wildly different
-
I disagree, living p2p is just is just as difficult now as it was then. As the phrase 'paycheck to paycheck' implies, having no money 50 years ago and having no money now is the same thing.
-
Absolutely not. The wealth divide is way larger now than it has ever been. There's a lot more "essentials" that it's hard to succeed without. Back in the day you only needed two hands and a will to work, now you need a lot more. And you need more education, as well. Which costs $

I worked from paycheck to paycheck for a very long time at minimum wage and lived a very simple life and turned out very well. For some reason this is a bad thing now. People now want the best of the best for free and
@BernieSanders will push for it with socialism. No thanks. - 1 more reply

I lived in Baltimore in the sixties so I know poverty. Living the American dream now and it's not because of socialism. Still not rich but happy, thanks to capitalism and hard work and taking responsibility for my actions, and not blaming others, you get what you put in

You also know what it is like to make it about you on 9/11. You and Trump have tons in common that way
-
So you've had no other thoughts or said anything else today aside from 9/11?
-
I actually did have other thoughts, like mainly Bern Bruhs would be hilarious if not for that whole death of us all risk.
