Listen old man. You can’t convince me of your platform until you swear an oath to provide each and every American (even unborn Americans and braindead ones rotting in overpriced hospital beds) with an endless supply of free hummus on demand.

From a UK perspective, we simply cannot understand the attitude of US citizens to healthcare. For us, healthcare quality shouldn't be about income inequality. Surely that would be a fundamental principle of any good society?

Same here in Denmark

As a Canadian I can't believe americans live like that, universal healthcare can work in the USA, you have to demand it. I can only imagine how stressful it must be wondering when you'll get sick, and that can't help things. Healthcare should be a right not a privilege.
-
I agree unfortunately many in our country do not feel this way! They believe it’s not a right if you don’t work for it
-
But if everyone pays for it through their taxes then everyone has contributed, and there won't be that concept of I deserve this and your don't, so have fun dying.
-
I’m 100% for Medicare for all!! I agree with you! I was just saying there are so many out there fighting this concept! But it isn’t me!!

Canada taxes a little higher so they are able to have universal healthcare. I am completely ok with paying a little higher in taxes if that means everyone gets the same care.

I agree, but I also think that if healthcare is a right, then healthy living should be a responsibility. You can’t own a car and just and let it rot and congest the streets. People don’t take good care of their bodies, and this complicated things
-
Perhaps heavy tax on fast food, digital video streaming services, prepared and highly processed foods, restaurant meals >700 calories, and then you have the money to cover the healthcare and we also drive consumer behavior in better directions?
-
I absolutely love this idea. Could help stop the obesity epidemic and help people like me watch their heart health. Right now, it's more expensive to eat healthy than to eat terribly. Let's change that.
