Young people need to make their voices heard in 2020 While young people continue to avoid participating in politics, politicians will continue to ignore young people
In 2016 voter turnout was only 46% among voters under 30 compared to 71% of voters over 65. Young people do not think a political system which lets billionaires buy elections works for them. We are going to change that and give them a reason to get involved.

Bernie, every time I see a statistic like this, I ask the same question: how many of those no-shows *chose* not to vote, and how many were prevented in some way? Because the answer to that question influences the solution to the problem in a major way.

It was a very close election and if that 46% was only slightly higher, Trump would not be President. Perhaps a certain candidate who lost the primary should have encouraged his supporters to vote rather than fall prey to pro-Trump propaganda out of Moscow.

I was pro Bernie, and I was upset when Bernie told us "No no, you have to vote for Hillary" So he did.
