There is no reason for the health insurance industry to exist.

The health insurance industry has become a massive impediment to good practice in the delivery of care. Health professionals can attest to the many difficulties it causes. Bureaucracy and profiteering have overtaken the health profession in the United States.

This was the same lie used when the scam known as Obama-Care was sold to the public... And what were the results? - Premiums Doubled, - People Lost Their Plans, - And People Lost Their Doctors. No one is buying your lies, Bernie.

As someone who works with Medicare Advantage companies (Medicare Part C), I can say with 99.9% confidence that the government wont do as good a job as health care companies in managing patient health and costs. Medicare for All will absolutely end up costing America more.
-
And I can say as someone who has to visit doctors very often and deal with high medical costs. I would much prefer a M4A solution with no deductibles, copays, or premiums. It's also been a nightmare for me to even get an appointment, sometimes taking months at a time.

For me, and I think for a lot of people, we just don’t trust the government to run our healthcare. Congress is stuck in political dead lock and partisan bickering. I don’t want my health care to be a bargaining chip for other policies.

People could use primary care physicians instead of the ER, that’s a lot saved right there!
-
I literally said the same thing on my Facebook earlier lol. I told people to quit going to the ER for common colds and they lost their minds! ER...EMERGENCY room not “my nose is runny” room.
-
People go to the ER because they don’t have insurance and the ER cannot turn anyone away because they cannot pay.
-
Which results in a $5000 hospital bill that will not be paid. Urgent care is much cheaper and works on a sliding scale. And colds do not require a doctor, they require a trip to the local pharmacy for some cold medicine and a couple of days rest.

The saving thousands of dollars part is tbd, taxes will increase but the question is by how much?
-
Savings are after the tax. The new tax will be your health insurance payment.
