They get big by not being local lol. Name one local business that is too big.

Hmm. You know how wal-mart started? Microsoft? Apple? IBM? Amazon? Pretty much any fast food chain? When someone makes something and it becomes popular, it will grow. I agree with supporting local businesses, but for the reason of helping them grow / provide higher quality.
