Unions have a long history working with business in times of need or special circumstances, to temporarily reduce pay and/or hrs, suspend benefits, etc. e.g. auto industry in 80s 90s. Biz and unions CAN be partners, work together, grow economy. But there must be unions.

I was 18 years old and working at
@Target when I was forced to watch anti-union propaganda and even approached in a store by a person whose job it was to tell me how bad unions are. So predatory. I was making $8.50/hour in 2010. -
Likewise I worked seasonal help and I am a teacher. I thought it was crazy and was perplexed how stressful it was for my supervisor that made maybe $12/hour- no way there is enough hours in a day for her to make it! It was sad!

My first job at 16 was
@McDonalds in 2008 and I was paid $6.50/hour. I remember hearing supervisors made $12/hour and they’re adults with kids. I knew back then it wasn’t a living wage. Not much has changed!
