Obviously not for those in Canada paying higher taxes.

We have plenty of benefits that that marginally higher tax rate affords us. Like not losing our job or our house because we had to have a medical procedure done. It’s well worth it.

And for those complaining about Canadian wait times, that is our model to learn from. We can use it as a case study, improve upon it, and make an American system that's better.

The complaints over wait times are largely from people with fast food mentality. No patience. How DARE I have to wait in line But in fact serious procedures take the front of the line, and people are seen to within the capacity of the system It works. Sometimes you wait a bit

The only time you’d be waiting a month to see a dr is if that dr is a specialist and your procedure is elective and you’re in good overall health. If any of that changed, you’d see a dr promptly.

As a Canadian I’ve never waited for anything and I pay the same taxes and my US buddies. Believe what you want. I’m happy with what I have.

We also have “Hallway Medicine” due to overcrowding in Hospitals, but I digress.

True..because people can actually go to hospitals, and not die on the streets or in their homes if they haven't the $$$ to pay for their care.
