While I support small family farms in general. I cannot support animal agriculture anymore. Way too many downsides for us, the planet, and our fellow beings, treated so horribly. Meat and dairy must be off our plate.

CO_2 is a large biproduct of livestock farming. But most of it is mediated by the crops that feed these animals. (Plants breathe CO_2) Throttling our electricity production from coal and natural gas to more renewable sources is by far the most feasible step towards a solution.

Those SAME crops could be used to feed humans and then maybe there would be no more of the detruction of wild areas to feed cattle, pigs etc. Of course it goes without saying solar power is great. Been off grid solar 30 years You?
