Were done here.... give him the job

I’m all for it, just don’t think people realize most jobs still won’t allow it. Would you want your doctor, nurse, pharmacist, elementary teacher high at work? And where do we then draw that line. Definitely agree on expunging and legal though. The next part is just sticky.
-
I mean you don’t want any of them drunk at work but alcohol is legal.
-
They can get Percocet and other pain killers easily sure marijuana is the least of our worries with doctors and nurses

We also need to ban workplace testing for marijuana. Weed’s legal in my state but not if you want to be employed. Someone can drink a gallon of gin every night & nobody cares as long as they’re not intoxicated at work, but if you took a few bong hits a month ago you can be fired.

Yes! Drug testing by employers is incredibly invasive and inappropriate; they have no business reviewing the content of anyone’s bodily fluids.
-
I disagree, in aviation it makes plenty of sense to drug test. I know Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier all drug test and I feel better off knowing they do...especially pilots
-
That is a different circumstance. Drug testing should be mandatory on job that involves transportation in all types, but if you are a regular employee at a mall in a department store it shouldn't be that way. Different levels

Elizabeth Warren has backtracked on cannabis legalization; her website only mentions decriminalization.

Why not legalize all drugs and just end the expensive and ineffective war on drugs entirely?
-
Ya gotta start somewhere.
-
Already done in Portugal, in fact. A success.
-
I agree my dude but USA isn’t Portugal
