It's very common for people like Bernie who chase away corporations that bring hundreds of jobs in low income areas and proceed to blame it on them. Terrible socialist way of thinking.
The trade union movement is the last line of defense against a billionaire class that won’t be satisfied until they have it all.

Anyone under 45 complaining about unions, remember that the decent education you got, the roads you drive on, the public hospitals you get treated in, the pensions your parents get to get by on, and much more, stem from the massive unionization of the early/mid-20th century....

.... and remember that the great success of US unions from post-WW2 thru the early 80s was an antidote to Communist ideology, was the most effective anti-Communist movement in US history. Strong unions helped keep Communism out of N.America, unlike most of the world...
