Let me be blunt: This is total nonsense. The planet will remain livable for the foreseeable future, regardless of what people do or do not do.

Listen to this guy, he knows best, he's seen the future and knows over 97% of todays scientists are wrong!

They kind of are.

97% of scientists do not say that the planet might become inhabitable within one or two generations. If there are any at all (which there might not be), they are less than 1%.

Inhabitable should not be the bar we're aiming for. We want stable and prosporous, not just habitable.

Green policies won't affect the rich or the well off. It will affect everyone else. We will bear the burden. We will once again be forced to serve our elite masters like those in the past.

And the rich will not suffer from the severe effects of climate change. They can always buy their way out of anything. The rest of us will suffer. We already are.

Yet forest fires are on the rise here and our pharmaceutical companies are investing in medicine for south American diseases because they know insects carrying these diseases will be able to survive and migrate north to where we are

The climate crisis in my district is one medical emergency away from going bankrupt because we have #5 and #6 worst air pollution in the country. The climate crisis is generational poverty. We need action now.
