97% of scientists do not say that the planet might become inhabitable within one or two generations. If there are any at all (which there might not be), they are less than 1%.

Inhabitable should not be the bar we're aiming for. We want stable and prosporous, not just habitable.

Green policies won't affect the rich or the well off. It will affect everyone else. We will bear the burden. We will once again be forced to serve our elite masters like those in the past.

And the rich will not suffer from the severe effects of climate change. They can always buy their way out of anything. The rest of us will suffer. We already are.

The climate crisis in my district is one medical emergency away from going bankrupt because we have #5 and #6 worst air pollution in the country. The climate crisis is generational poverty. We need action now.
