This sounds so cool, but I just know he means giving everyone healthcare on the backs of colonized people and not sending the rich to the guillotine and purging the far right.

true but the difference between him and other socdems is that his rhetoric actually invokes class warfare which is why 2016 was a gateway for so many people whereas warren’s goal is to suppress class consciousness and pretend no warfare is taking place
-
Well sure. I’m not saying the rhetoric is bad. Only that it isn’t enough. i would say that he is probably the only socdem out here besides AOC/Ilhan. Warren just a straight up capitalist. The thing is, is he waking ppl up, or preventing people from moving further left? We’ll see
-
I mean he woke me up surely. But i also know plenty that are already complacent with capitalism-lite.
-
i know the rhetoric unto itself is definitely good but even though bourgeois electoralism is ultimately a fool’s errand, putting this rhetoric on a national platform is imo essential to allowing the proletariat to develop the foundations of a political character
-
Yeah I’m not disagreeing with that. That’s the point of my original tweet. I love how it sounds and I like that message is getting out there, I just wish it meant more coming from him at this point.
-
that’s very fair
-
Honestly this is one of the better good faith convos I've seen on here lately.

'Class warfare...' says the man driving a $200,000 Audi R8.pic.twitter.com/M5n89p1Suy

I didn't say he bought it. I said he was driving it.

Ever think maybe we shouldn't have any warfare going on?

Maoists like Bernie thrive on class war. His career is built on claiming to stand for workers, while stomping actual worker expression underfoot.

Quick question Ron4, what's it like living life as the Waluigi of system of a down frontman Serj Tankian? Do you only love American imperialism and oligarchy because he hates it?pic.twitter.com/jq9hwLWW9H

The words? We love em, folks

Good. Bernie has introduced a language of class struggle and redistribution to generate working class strength.
