"I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals." – Albert Einstein

Dear Bernie, Real freedom means giving Americans a chance to fail. Respectfully,

i mean what do you think universal healthcare and free college is for
-
M4A is part of Yang's plan. College is generally overrated. "6 years after first enrolling, fewer than 60% of students have attained a degree. If you look at only open-admissions schools, the number drops to 32%." For more on his policies, please seehttps://www.yang2020.com/policies/

Talk about
#Automation of LABOR!!!#YangGangpic.twitter.com/uHg9BfU7qp
-
strong unions IS a response to automation
-
1. Unions are becoming less and less prominent. 2. If there are no jobs, unions can’t negotiate anything. Our best bet is to split the bounty of the automating companies
-
1,2) bc the govt took away most of their rights 3) unions are how workers get a seat at the table to benefit. capitalists won’t give up a cent without the threat of strike
-
i sympathize w yanggang bc ur hearts are in the right place but “just give ppl money” is a bandaid. we got to this shitty situation for a ton of reasons we gotta undo, one reason is the crippling of the labor movement.
-
"just give people money" will eventually lead to ownership of corporations by the people instead of ownership by one or a few individuals. socialism is the only path for a fair and stable future. let automation be a boon for us all. not just the rich that control the corporations
-
This is very unlikely. You’d need additional legal and material change, to allow workers to start these ownership programs, and to give them preference, at the auction point. Otherwise capital completely outguns them.
-
I didn't say it would be done in a civil way.
