No words. Attacking police is a cheap way to win votes.

Pointing out that some police officers are racist and/or corrupt is not equivalent with attacking them as a whole. The bottom line is that we depend on the police for our safety, so when any police within the system abuse that trust and harm us they must be weeded out.

Trying to address it at the presidential level implies it’s a bigger issue that needs that type of attention.

Newsflash: the government already investigates every police shooting. If you simply mean just rough-housing, there are going to be a lot of investigations in the queue. In theory it sounds great, but in reality, it’s just another virtue signal to get votes.

That's not what he said. He's trying to improve policing so that it improves the lives of minorities instead of landing them in deadend lives or just plain dead. Have you ever toured a jail...l recommend it.

This was a sardonic comment. If we still think police are the answer to societal problems then we will simple circle back around to terrible police violence like this without understanding the systems that create these circumstances in the first place.
