        All injustice and inequity is rooted in the inequality of place. We need to tax the vast unearned wealth collected by the 1% who own the most precious, commercially active land and infrastructure. Redistribution comes via land value tax and removal of exclusionary licensing.

        There are 33 prisons in California. Guess where the ex-cons settle when they get out. Some towns are full of ex-cons and therefore full of poverty because few will hire them. We don't need more prisons in Cali. We don't need other states sending their Cons here.

        The state of California has 33 prisons. That is more than any one state should have. Also when people get out of prison they rarely travel farther than the next few towns over to settle, even though they were shipped there from another state. Tehachapi is full of ex-cons.
