For those who don't know: Eid al-Adha is an Islamic festival to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim (also known as Abraham) to follow Allah's (God's) command to sacrifice his son. Muslims around the world observe this event.

And celebrate God’s mercy in eliminating human sacrifice and sacrificing an animal to feed all people. Quran says to feed it to the poor who ask and who don’t ask, all religions included.

But.. they eat those animals. How is that different than going to McDonalds and ordering a burger that came from factory-raised cattle? Honest question.

One is done in the name of an all-merciful God, the other isn’t. But both are horrific. I’m vegetarian, by the way.

I dont think eating meat is horrific. Seen animals hunt and kill. I've hunted for my food in the wild. This is life. Also understand having compassion, and can understand why u feel it's wrong. But calln out a billion ppl is prob not gonna convince them they shouldn't eat meat.
