The
#FreedomDividend ends poverty. If you have 'Trojan Horse' pop up when you hear this, I challenge you to figure out who put that in your head, because I can guarantee you that it was not you, because it's not true.#EndPovertyNowpic.twitter.com/RFCp0YwSA3

I support UBI, but I suspect that yang will probably have a much easier time on a second run just like Bernie. Right now I kinda want Bernie's policies more than yangs, but I'll happily vote for him in 2028, or if he wins the nomination.

Do you live under a rock because the economy is traveling down the Trump tracks to an economy that works for everybody! All minorities are being lifted by this economy but perfection takes time everything President Trump has implemented is going to raise everyone.pic.twitter.com/mKzjhg44sW

It's funny because PragerU has a severe conflict of interest because they benefit directly if people believe that line. I've never seen a single thing that they've said that hasn't been entirely debunked by logic and data.

You can't make an economic bill of rights without promising people other people's stuff.

Just think of how much more productive our work force could be, how many more businesses and jobs could be created, how many more scientific and technological advances we could make to compete in the international market with a more educated work force.

I agree, medical costs are a big reason people don't become entrepreneurs. That's 100% accurate, but it's not due to insurance companies & their 5% margins, it's due to underlying costs, of which M4A does very little other than agree to pay, forever.
-
M4A gives the government a lot more bargaining power. Right now, if a pharma company gouges customers and an insurance provider decides not to cover the drug they provide, pharma can just say, "Too bad- we'll sell to someone else." In a single payer system, this stops.
-
There will be some savings, I agree, & savings on administrative costs. How will the government bargain for life saving medication when only one company provides it? One of the biggest flaws is that M4A can't say no. Same for emergent care. All bargaining is out the window.
-
30% of out medical costs go to advertising+middlemen who decide if we deserve the med care+administrative costs+CEO pay. And MD offices spend 30% of their income on staff to deal w/ private ins companies. 30% of Americans are already on Medicare. The adm cost of Medicare is 3%.
-
Those marketing budgets will probably even grow to lobby Congress to include their treatments? The Mylan EpiPen fiasco started when Mylan successfully lobbied to require all schools to have EpiPens, only after they jacked the price 600% w/ no generics. This still happens w/ M4A
-
Infrastructure for Medicare already exists. It will be so easy to just do the data entry to add everyone in and have that 27% savings on overhead. Estimates are we will save 40% on drug prices. About 33% of our healthcare is paid by the US govt. The extra cost is insignificant.
