My father was a school teacher, so he couldn't afford to send me to college. So I worked and put myself through school. So grateful for this country and it's opportunities.

I also worked my way through college, now a director. The kids I hire paid a LOT more than us, so our experience isn't comparable. 2 of my kids are now going to college. Both are working while going. So far so good, and no student debt yet. I'm paying half to help, they're paying half to make it meaningful. Useful degrees too, nursing and design engineering. More grateful than ever for this country
