Shit this is my job, Bernie I do medical billing - what am I going to do with my life? A federally guaranteed job ? like painting dots on the freeway? My hands are too soft for that
-
gee whiz, I guess I can oil that thing. I just will have to get used to telling people my job title is "lubricator"
-
In a federal job guarantee program, all jobs are "lubricator" in some way or another ...

Imagine waking up to find an email saying that something as simple as a blood test cost $2500 since your insurance didn't cover it. The only people who are "happy with their insurance" are people who aren't sick.
-
I should clarify that my insurance is supposedly one of the best.

I agree that that is good, but there are hundreds of thousands of people working in medical billing industry. Where do we put them after we basically ban their jobs?
-
Some jobs will simply be nationalized, but some will have to seek employment elsewhere. Both the house and senate M4A legislation provide funding for education and jobs programs for those currently working in the insurance industry.
-
Education and jobs programs run by the fed government dont work properly, no pun intended. We’ve been shown this time and time again, especially with the manufacturing workers in the Midwest. 0-15% success rate retraining them. These are real people, need real solutions for them
-
These aren't manufacturing jobs. Real people need healthcare too.
